IMPULSE RIOT · YOUR DATA
Privacy Policy
Last updated: 14 October 2026
We believe privacy should be straightforward. This policy explains how Impulse Riot handles personal information when you visit our website, contact us, or choose to hear from us.
1. Who is responsible?
Sarah Alice Presch, trading as Impulse Riot (IČO: 88819752) (“Impulse Riot”, “we”, “us”) is the data controller for the personal data described here. Contact us at hello@impulseriot.com. Our contact address displayed on the website is Červená cesta 1638, 686 04 Kunovice, Czech Republic.
2. Information we collect
- Enquiries: your name, email address, selected topic, message, and any information you choose to include.
- Marketing preferences: whether you have expressly opted in to receive our newsletter and any subsequent withdrawal of consent.
- Technical data: our hosting provider and form-delivery provider may process IP addresses, browser information, timestamps and security logs to operate and protect the site.
- Cookie preferences: your choice about optional cookies is stored in your browser.
3. Why we use it and our legal bases
- Responding to enquiries and discussing services: taking steps at your request before a contract, or our legitimate interest in handling business enquiries (GDPR Article 6(1)(b) or (f), depending on the context).
- Providing services and maintaining business records: contract performance and, where applicable, legal obligations (Articles 6(1)(b) and (c)).
- Newsletter emails: only where you have actively opted in (Article 6(1)(a)); you may withdraw consent at any time.
- Website security and essential operation: our legitimate interests in protecting the site (Article 6(1)(f)).
- Optional analytics or marketing technologies, if added: your prior consent, where required. No optional analytics or advertising trackers are intentionally activated by the consent manager supplied with this site.
4. Who receives your data?
Website enquiries are sent using FormSubmit, a third-party form-delivery service, to hello@impulseriot.com. FormSubmit and our email and hosting providers may process information as service providers under their own applicable terms. Please avoid sending sensitive personal information through the contact form.
We plan to use Mailchimp for newsletters, but it is not connected to this website yet. Ticking the newsletter box currently records your preference with your enquiry; it does not automatically subscribe you to Mailchimp. If we later transfer opted-in contacts to Mailchimp, we will update this policy and apply appropriate safeguards.
5. International transfers
Some service providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where the GDPR requires safeguards, we will rely on an applicable adequacy decision or other lawful transfer mechanism, such as standard contractual clauses, as appropriate. Review the privacy terms of our selected hosting, email and form providers before launch.
6. How long we keep information
We keep enquiry correspondence only as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage the business relationship, resolve disputes, or meet legal obligations. Contract and accounting records may need to be kept for statutory periods. Newsletter consent records are kept while needed to demonstrate consent, including after withdrawal where legally justified. We periodically review records and delete them when no longer needed.
7. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. Email hello@impulseriot.com to exercise your rights.
You may also complain to the Czech data protection authority, Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů (ÚOOÚ).
8. Cookies and local storage
This website uses browser storage to remember your cookie choice. Essential technologies required to operate or secure the website do not require optional marketing consent. We will not load optional analytics or advertising scripts unless you have consented to the relevant category. See our Cookie Policy and use the Cookie settings link to revisit your choice.
9. Changes
We may update this policy as our website, suppliers or services change. The current version will be published here with an updated date.
